About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage outlets
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain quality service standards
  • Support the Assistant Outlet Manager and/or Manager by supervising staff and managing inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct inspection rounds for organization, cleanliness, maintenance, and supplies
  • Monitor adherence to service standards, SOPs, uniform, and grooming standards
  • Supervise guest service and respond to guests needing assistance
  • Establish and monitor side work completion
  • Maintain and secure the bank according to SOP
  • Review and prepare shift communication sheets; check call-offs and floor-plan coverage
  • Check restaurant cleanliness and setup
  • Communicate with the restaurant manager regarding special events and house counts
  • Assist with menu classes, taste panels, and month-end inventory counts
  • Communicate with team members about service, scheduling, safety chats, MSDS, and bulletins
  • Report unsafe working conditions
  • Ensure proper handling of guest checks and cash transactions
  • Intercede or fill in for team members as needed
  • Promote teamwork and promptly report significant problems or unusual matters
  • Execute emergency procedures and comply with safety regulations, hotel standards, policies, and rules
  • Attend hotel meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in excellent condition
  • Remain current with hotel information and changes
  • Comply with uniform and grooming standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Food and Beverage Restaurant Experience is required
  • One to two years of lead or supervisor restaurant experience preferred
  • Liquor and beverage knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
  • Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required
