About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain thorough knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, attractions, and shops
- Maintain familiarity with hotel facilities, room types, food and beverage outlets, recreational activities, and emergency procedures
- Make dining, theater, tour, travel, and other arrangements
- Personalize services and anticipate guest requests whenever possible
- Demonstrate a professional attitude when interacting with guests, hotel staff, and vendors in person and by telephone
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in hospitality or relevant industry preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to learn Property Management Systems
- Familiarity with Opera, HOTSOS, Alliant, Sertifi, Resy, and Zomato preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to use hands, fingers, vision, and hearing to operate computer and phone systems successfully
