About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow key client relationships and serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned clients
  • Manage client accounts and associated projects from initial request and scoping through planning, production, delivery, completion, and closeout
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, quarterly business reviews, roadmap discussions, and executive presentations
  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, briefs, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate work across Strategy, Creative, Content, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and production teams
  • Lead internal kickoffs, status meetings, working sessions, and day-to-day client communications
  • Identify and resolve risks, roadblocks, scope changes, resource needs, and project budget issues
  • Develop account growth plans and identify additional projects, services, retainers, and strategic engagements
  • Monitor account revenue, forecasts, profitability, utilization, project performance, and client satisfaction
  • Manage new business pitch processes, qualify RFPs, and lead proposals, presentations, scopes, estimates, and strategic recommendations
  • Build relationships with prospective clients, industry contacts, and partners
  • Serve as the connector between clients and internal teams, facilitate cross-functional decisions, and mentor less experienced Client Services team members
  • Contribute to improving Client Services processes, project management standards, and business development practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in account management, client services, project management, business development, consulting, digital marketing, or a related professional services environment
  • Significant experience in a digital, creative, marketing, technology, or integrated agency environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing client relationships and the projects associated with those accounts
  • Strong project management capabilities, including scopes, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional teams
  • Proven success managing complex, high-value client relationships and developing relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to identify and develop organic account growth opportunities
  • Experience leading or playing a significant role in new business pitches, RFP responses, proposals, presentations, estimates, and scope development
  • Strong understanding of agency financial fundamentals, including revenue forecasting, project budgets, profitability, and utilization
  • Broad understanding of digital strategy and services, with the ability to connect business challenges to multidisciplinary solutions
  • Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with strong executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without relying on direct authority
  • Ability to move comfortably between high-level strategy and hands-on project management
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, pitches, conferences, and agency events as needed
