About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic leadership for the Project Management Office and Resource Management Office supporting Logicalis Professional Services
- Build a scalable delivery operating model improving project predictability, customer experience, portfolio visibility, financial performance, and resource utilization
- Lead project intake, project manager assignment, resource qualification and scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project governance, financial oversight, and project closure
- Establish decision rights, standards, and accountability across PMO, RMO, engagement managers, practice leaders, sales, finance, delivery teams, partners, and customers
- Build capacity and demand management using backlog, pipeline, resource availability, skills, utilization, and third-party capacity data
- Define and maintain differentiated project delivery governance based on value, risk, complexity, customer impact, delivery model, and contractual exposure
- Own portfolio health reporting and executive governance across delivery, financial, customer, schedule, scope, resource, and quality indicators
- Lead project recovery efforts for high-risk or strategically important engagements
- Govern delivery involving strategic vendors, subcontractors, and acquired organizations
- Establish customer experience standards and proactive customer communication practices
- Serve as executive sponsor or escalation leader for high-risk and strategically important engagements
- Partner with sales and delivery leaders to restore customer confidence when engagements are at risk
- Own PMO and RMO operating performance, budgets, workforce planning, productivity, and cost management
- Establish governance for revenue, cost, budgets, estimates-to-complete, billing readiness, write-offs, change requests, and margin performance
- Identify financial risks and lead corrective actions
- Ensure scope changes and customer requests are evaluated and converted into approved change orders when appropriate
- Monitor third-party labor usage, subcontractor performance, purchase-order coverage, and external delivery-resource costs
- Provide executive portfolio reporting for fact-based decisions and timely intervention
- Develop PMO and RMO workforce strategy, including capacity models, career paths, succession planning, hiring profiles, contractor use, and future skill requirements
- Create differentiated project leadership capabilities across project coordinators, project managers, senior project managers, and program managers
- Improve scheduling accuracy, utilization, resource-calendar reliability, and delivery continuity
- Establish subcontractor qualification, onboarding, performance, and replacement standards
- Build a culture of customer obsession, ownership, timely escalation, financial discipline, continuous improvement, and data-based decision-making
- Improve project, financial, customer, capacity, and resource data quality and timeliness
- Develop and execute automation and AI roadmaps for status reporting, meeting follow-up, risk detection, resource recommendations, scope-change identification, financial alerts, and project closure
- Establish human review, data governance, access controls, and accountability for AI-enabled processes
- Measure adoption, productivity gains, decision quality, customer impact, and financial value from platform and automation investments
- Partner with sales, solution leaders, and delivery practices on complex opportunities and pre-sales delivery assumptions
- Provide project leadership input into statements of work, delivery plans, resource models, dependencies, acceptance criteria, governance, and change-control provisions
- Support integration, transition, and transformation initiatives requiring cross-functional program leadership
- Act as senior PMO and RMO advisor to Services and company leadership
- Directly supervise PMO Team Managers and Project Managers, including hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, complaint handling, and problem resolution
- Promote Logicalis's mission, values, customer service expectations, ethical conduct, and compliance with applicable laws and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; equivalent combination accepted
- 12 or more years of progressively responsible experience in project, program, portfolio, professional services, or delivery operations
- 7 or more years of leadership experience, including responsibility for managers and geographically distributed teams
- Demonstrated experience leading a PMO, RMO, professional services operations function, or comparable delivery organization
- Proven responsibility for project financial performance, resource capacity, delivery governance, customer escalations, and organizational improvement
- Experience leading complex technology programs involving contractual, budgetary, resource, vendor, and customer-accountability requirements
- Demonstrated success improving project predictability, customer experience, margin protection, operational scalability, and executive visibility
- Working knowledge of professional services commercial models, including fixed-fee, time-and-materials, staff augmentation, consumption-based, and subcontracted delivery
- Strong executive communication skills and experience working with senior customer and internal leadership
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
- PMP, PMI-PMOCP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or resource management certification beneficial
