About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide pre-sales technical engineering support to Account Executives and clients throughout the sales process
Design and develop integrated physical security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, and connected devices
Produce accurate client designs and proposals using Logicalis technologies, services, and methodologies
Conduct assessments, studies, and surveys; analyze data to recommend solutions
Qualify new business opportunities and client requirements from a technical perspective
Design and configure complex solution components
Propose solution elements, configurations, and implementation details
Prepare for and conduct client proof of concepts
Prepare and perform product demonstrations
Promote, define, and position Logicalis services across its portfolio
Advise service delivery teams to support successful solution implementation
Help clients understand solution benefits
Interface with vendor and manufacturer teams
Provide product and solution training for Logicalis sales teams and clients
Mentor Logicalis team members
Participate in increasingly complex client projects, regional and national events, and regional team meetings
Maintain knowledge of Logicalis solutions and services
Establish client relationships through strong listening skills and build credibility by delivering commitments on time
Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Support customer service expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology, or related field preferred
4 years’ experience in technical pre-sales role
Experience working with enterprise physical security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IoT-connected devices
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise deployments and large-scale integration projects
Experience designing and delivering integrated technology solutions
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working with IT, facilities, and security stakeholders
