About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides pre-sales technical engineering support to Account Executives and clients throughout the sales process
- Designs and develops integrated physical security solutions including access control, video surveillance, and connected devices
- Produces designs and proposals using Logicalis technologies, services, and methodologies
- Conducts assessments, studies, and surveys; analyzes data to recommend solutions
- Qualifies new business opportunities and requirements from a technical perspective
- Designs and configures complex solution components
- Proposes solution elements, configurations, and implementation details
- Prepares and conducts client proof of concepts and product demonstrations
- Promotes and positions Logicalis services across its portfolio
- Advises the service delivery team to support successful solution implementation
- Interfaces with vendor and manufacturer teams
- Provides product and solution training for sales teams and clients
- Mentors Logicalis team members and participates in increasingly complex client projects
- Participates in regional and national events and team meetings
- Maintains client relationships, credibility, and trust through effective communication and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology, or related field preferred
- 4 years’ experience in technical pre-sales role
- Experience working with enterprise physical security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IoT-connected devices
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
- Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies
- Experience supporting multi-site enterprise deployments and large-scale integration projects
- Experience designing and delivering integrated technology solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience working with IT, facilities, and security stakeholders
