About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, process, and document technical support requests
  • Participate in the onboarding of new employees and contractors, including hardware preparation, access provisioning, and training on tools
  • Install, configure, and improve workstations, printers, and mobile devices
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and telecommunications issues, taking site access constraints into account
  • Maintain inventories of equipment, software, and configurations
  • Coordinate and prioritize preventive and corrective interventions to minimize service interruptions
  • Apply and enforce IT security standards and internal policies
  • Recommend improvements to IT processes and participate in innovation initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in IT Support and/or another related diploma
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft environment
  • Knowledge of ITSM
  • Knowledge of Intune
  • Knowledge of cloud providers (asset)
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN (asset)
  • Knowledge of UniFi (asset)
  • Knowledge of firewalls (asset)
  • Knowledge of VoIP/PBX/WebRTC (asset)
  • A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft 365 Certified certification (asset)
