About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and evaluate incoming tender documents (RFI/RFQ)
- Develop well-founded decision papers and recommendations
- Manage and coordinate the participating departments throughout the tender process
- Prepare competitive bid documents, pricing models, and logistics solution approaches
- Create structured proposals and actively support or independently deliver customer presentations of the concepts
- Manage the process from the initial inquiry through the successful handover to implementation
- Ensure all processes comply with established standard criteria and maintain complete documentation
- Conduct win/loss analyses for continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends and competitive developments to derive strategic insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a specialization in logistics, or completed commercial training combined with several years of professional experience in logistics sales
- Professional experience managing and supporting tenders, ideally in logistics
- Experience in business analysis, cost calculations, and project management, ideally in logistics
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong service and customer orientation, as well as willingness to travel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a structured approach to work
- Very good written and spoken German and English
