About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and evaluate incoming tender documents (RFI/RFQ)
- Prepare well-founded decision papers and recommendations
- Manage and coordinate the participating departments throughout the tender process
- Create competitive bid documents, pricing models, and logistics solution concepts
- Coordinate with the relevant departments
- Prepare structured bids and support or independently deliver presentations of the concepts to customers
- Manage the process from the initial inquiry through handover to implementation
- Ensure process quality in accordance with established standard criteria
- Maintain complete documentation and conduct win/loss analyses
- Analyze market trends and competitor developments to derive strategic insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a specialization in logistics, or completed commercial training with several years of professional experience in logistics sales
- Professional experience managing and supporting tender processes, ideally in logistics
- Experience with business analyses and calculations as well as project management, ideally in logistics
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong service and customer orientation
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in delivering presentations
- Structured approach to work
- Very good written and spoken German and English
