About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards
Prepare and review notes to the financial statements for disclosure of the company’s financial information
Perform account reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring the integrity of balances
Support external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and technical assistance throughout the audit process
Prepare and review accounting entries related to financial instruments, the equity method, and share-based compensation plans
Perform calculations, maintain controls, and record lease agreements in accordance with IFRS 16
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes
Analyze and implement changes to accounting and regulatory standards applicable to the business
Prepare management reports and analyses to support decision-making within the finance and accounting function
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, internal controls, and accounting governance
Support the preparation and disclosure of sustainability information and IFRS S1 and S2 reporting (desirable)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Intermediate English proficiency for reading and reviewing documents
Experience preparing notes to the financial statements and reviewing financial statements
Experience supporting external audits
Knowledge of financial instruments, stock option plans, and the equity method
Experience with lease calculations in accordance with IFRS 16
Experience preparing and analyzing account reconciliations
Knowledge of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 sustainability reporting (a plus)
