About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a team of Sourcing Analysts and Assistants by distributing responsibilities, monitoring deliverables, and fostering technical and behavioral development
- Coordinate supply-chain sourcing management by monitoring installed capacity, planned and actual volumes, and identifying gaps and opportunities
- Coordinate the development of supplier-tier structures, establishing criteria for supplier segmentation and directing appropriate requirements and action plans according to strategic relevance
- Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of supply risks, considering compliance, financial, capacity, product, quality, sustainability, location, and reputational risks
- Support strategies that enhance supply security and the company’s ability to respond to business needs
- Support capacity-versus-demand studies by proactively identifying constraints, idle capacity, dependencies, and opportunities to redistribute volumes
- Coordinate supply-chain development and adaptation plans, monitoring actions with suppliers and ensuring progress against required indicators and capabilities
- Lead strategic projects related to supply-chain development, promoting cross-functional alignment and monitoring action plans
- Lead the supplier qualification and approval process, ensuring delivery within established deadlines
- Provide support for requests related to supplier registration processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Management, or Planning
- Experience leading teams
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Knowledge of supplier and supply-chain management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Ability to build and present KPIs and executive analyses
- Systems thinking and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with domestic and international sourcing is preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
- Results-oriented profile with strong negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills
