About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary contact for SMEs participating in the AI Integrate Accelerator programme
- Build relationships with clients and understand their business needs and challenges
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 40 London-based SME manufacturers
- Assess client readiness for AI digital transformation and identify suitable support
- Develop tailored technology adoption roadmaps
- Deliver one-to-one specialist advice and technical initiatives supporting AI implementation
- Signpost alternative support offered by London & Partners
- Share SME and delivery insights with programme leadership to improve outcomes and operations
- Maintain awareness of new technology developments and industrial applications
- Engage SMEs across London to promote the programme and encourage registrations
- Liaise with regional managers, business support managers, and SME sector networks
- Represent the programme at business and industry events
- Assist with development of case studies
- Coordinate site visits and remote consultations
- Monitor progress against transformation plans and provide ongoing support
- Track client engagements in the CRM for impact tracking and funder reporting
- Work with course providers to ensure content meets client needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience advising on or implementing AI technology solutions within SME contexts
- Proven experience helping businesses achieve increased productivity, enhanced competitiveness, improved operational efficiency, new or improved products and services, or improved customer experience
- Track record working with SMEs, diagnosing business needs and developing practical strategic action plans for AI and digital technologies
- Experience supporting technology adoption from identifying and prioritising use cases through experimentation, implementation and integration
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, including working with senior management
- Experience delivering training, workshops or one-to-one technical support relating to AI, digital technologies or business improvement
- Understanding and experience of project management techniques
- Strong understanding and technical skills across generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-enabled automation, machine learning, predictive analytics, data analytics, NLP, conversational AI, computer vision, image recognition, AI agents, and integration of AI tools with business systems
- Strong understanding of data literacy and data readiness for AI
- Strong understanding of responsible AI, including privacy, security, ethics, bias, transparency, governance and human oversight
- Understanding of digital transformation and AI adoption principles
- Degree or equivalent qualification in digital technology, computer science, data, engineering, business technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Strong practical AI and data literacy
- Strong written and oral presentation abilities
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to explain complex AI and technical concepts simply
- Ability to analyse business challenges and identify appropriate AI use cases and solutions
- Strong planning, organisational, administrative and project management skills
- Well-developed IT and digital skills, including AI tools, remote collaboration tools, spreadsheets, diary management, email systems and CRM databases
