Head of Business Development, Listings

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a targeted business development plan for publicly listed companies
- Prioritize prospects aligned with LTSE’s value proposition and build a qualified pipeline of listing opportunities
- Establish and deepen relationships with CEOs, C-suite leaders, Boards of Directors, and other key decision-makers
- Uncover business priorities, address objections, and secure next steps advancing listing decisions
- Own a disciplined and transparent pipeline process with accurate prospect information, milestones, account plans, and forecasts
- Convert relationships into listing commitments through tailored business cases and multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Coordinate internal expertise throughout the sales process
- Partner with Marketing on prospect targeting, visibility, credibility, messaging, materials, and campaigns
- Share prospect feedback, competitive insights, and adoption barriers to inform positioning, products, services, and commercial priorities
- Oversee prospect research for accurate and timely pipeline and engagement insights
- Connect companies with LTSE, an SEC-registered national securities exchange designed to promote fair and orderly markets and support long-term-focused companies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in business development, institutional sales, equity capital markets, or a related field
- Demonstrated success originating and closing complex opportunities with senior corporate decision-makers
- Experience managing extended sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to personally build pipeline and convert relationships into measurable commercial results
- Financial services or capital markets experience preferred
- Experience working with public companies, corporate leadership teams, boards, or their advisors on strategic decisions preferred
- Established network of relevant corporate leaders and advisors
- Experience building or expanding a business development function within a small or growing organization preferred
- Residence in a select state where LTSE offers remote employment
