About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of existing Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts
- Lead renewal negotiations and expansion opportunities
- Build customer relationships through email, phone, video, and in-person meetings
- Map customer organizations and develop account engagement strategies
- Partner with Customer Success Managers on adoption, pricing, renewals, and expansion
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Respond to subscription and upgrade requests
- Present expansion value to stakeholders and executives
- Conduct discovery sessions and online platform demonstrations
- Create playbooks, email templates, and meeting frameworks
- Use customer health and product data to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Develop strategies to increase engagement, growth, and advocacy
- Conduct market research on consumer needs and competitor activity
- Generate pipeline through prospecting and outbounding
- Report and maintain monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Maintain Salesforce account information and close renewals and expansions
- Monitor license consumption against contractual entitlements and identify upsell opportunities
- Collaborate with Product and Development, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Present customer insights to internal teams and senior leadership
- Occasionally travel for Loopio events or on-site customer meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in a Strategic Account Executive, Account Manager, or similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Experience growing and maintaining relationships with named accounts, including Global Banks and Fortune 500 globally distributed organizations
- Proven track record of developing sales opportunities and managing complex deal cycles
- Experience embedding into key accounts to drive business outcomes supporting account expansion
- Ability to develop relationships with senior leaders and C-level executives
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work as a team player
- Strong analytical ability and ability to derive insights from data and reporting
- Highly organized
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and understanding of organizational goals
- Experience using a dynamic sales tech stack
- Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
