Key responsibilities & impact

Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans, defining routines, frequencies, and scope based on failure history, manufacturer recommendations, and asset criticality
Schedule work orders, materials, and intervention windows, monitoring backlog, plan adherence, and rescheduling
Ensure the quality of maintenance records in the ERP/CMMS, guiding field teams on standards and workflows
Monitor costs and availability, MTBF, MTTR, and plan-adherence indicators, reporting results to leadership
Analyze failures and recurring parts issues using Pareto, PDCA, and FMEA, correlating fuel consumption, wear, and cost by asset
Monitor tire performance through inspections and wear, pressure, and damage indicators
Technically evaluate quotations from repair shops, dealerships, and parts suppliers, requesting technical reports when necessary
Manage assets for new operations and develop maintenance partners by evaluating suppliers and negotiating terms
Provide technical support for bids and commercial proposals, including maintenance assumptions, costs, and asset availability
Support the deployment and stabilization of assets in the field, ensuring safe and continuous fleet operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Logistics Engineering, or a related field
Experience in logistics and transportation operations
Experience managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
Knowledge of asset and fleet management
Expertise in cost analysis and maintenance KPIs
Experience managing technical partners and suppliers
Advanced Excel skills
Availability to travel
