About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage documentation, ongoing audit and review of all People processes to enable efficiency and business continuity
  • Enable scalability and efficiency of People processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Manage and optimise People Team tools, especially the PeopleFirst HRIS and PinPoint ATS
  • Troubleshoot system issues and translate operational needs into system requirements and process flows
  • Partner with Data Protection to ensure GDPR-compliant system setup
  • Lead or support selection and implementation of new People Team tools, including requirements definition, compliance review, workflow setup, data migration, testing, transition and change management
  • Serve as key contact for the ATS, updating workflows, automations, templates and exploring new features
  • Review People processes through a risk and compliance lens and represent the team in internal and external audits
  • Ensure adherence to legal and statutory requirements for collecting and processing data
  • Own and produce People Team data and analysis, including Talent and Learning metrics
  • Build and evolve the People Dashboard with the LCCC Performance Team
  • Establish data-integrity measures and reduce manual error
  • Analyse People helpdesk queries, processes and communications
  • Produce internal reporting including the Monthly Information Pack, Annual Report data, helpdesk and employee relations trends, and cyclical activity support
  • Produce external reporting including pay gap reporting, ONS surveys and Home Office reporting
  • Support People budgets, spend tracking, forecasting and supplier/contract management
  • Work with Procurement on supplier reviews, approvals and tender processes
  • Report to the People Operations Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience across People process, systems, compliance, reporting and analytics
  • Demonstrable understanding of People policy and procedures and ability to apply and factor in this knowledge to interpret, analyse and present people data and optimise systems
  • Track record in designing scalable People processes, leveraging technology to streamline and automate
  • Experience managing ongoing review of a suite of People processes
  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes covering the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll interface, performance, absence, flexible/agile working, benefits and employee data management
  • Superb knowledge of People policy and compliance requirements, particularly GDPR/data privacy
  • Involvement in implementation of new HRIS/people tools
  • High proficiency in Excel for analysis and tools supporting visualisation of findings
  • Proven ability to turn data into insight and develop narratives that drive action
  • Experience with Power BI and other data manipulation tools to create reports/dashboards
  • Strong use of HRIS to manipulate data, run queries, and identify trends and data gaps
  • Confident, concise and articulate presentation skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • Superb interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships internally and externally

  • Exposure to integrations such as Talent, L&D, Benefits Management and Payroll (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and data protection landscape (desirable)
  • Independent, pre-existing right to work in the UK required; visa sponsorship is unavailable
