About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage physical inventory processes in retail, RDC, BDC, FDC, XDT, and other Supply Chain locations
Administer accurate physical inventory counting processes and business document cut-offs
Perform random counts and audits of physical inventory processes
Use Genesis systems to manage inventory processes and transfer inventory data to corporate
Directly manage 15 to 25 OIS employees during counting processes
Coordinate counting functions of third-party Outside Inventory Services contractors
Prepare physical breakdowns of stores into geographic count sections
Direct inventory activities of an ASM and Lowe’s associates
Provide a customer-friendly inventory environment for store operations
Manage counts, controls, reconciliations, systems issues, and inventory cut-offs
Apply store operations policies and procedures during inventory processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
5 years’ extensive experience in operations management and all selling and inventory management systems
Extensive travel, including flights
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or equivalent work experience in a related field
Ability to manage physical inventory processes across retail, RDC, BDC, FDC, XDT, and other Supply Chain locations
Ability to use Genesis systems in stores
Ability to manage teams of 15 to 25 OIS employees
Ability to coordinate 3rd-party contractors and ensure count accuracy
