About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage physical inventory processes in retail, RDC, BDC, FDC, XDT, and other Supply Chain locations
Administer accurate physical inventory counting processes and ensure accurate business document cut-offs
Perform random counts and audits of physical inventory processes
Utilize Genesis systems in stores to manage processes and capture inventory data for transfer to corporate
Directly manage a team of 15 to 25 OIS employees during counting
Coordinate counting functions of third-party Outside Inventory Services contractors
Ensure third-party counts are accurate and loaded into Lowe’s systems
Prepare the physical breakdown of the store into geographic count sections
Manage deliverables for OIS employees while directing an ASM and Lowe’s associates during counting
Provide a customer-friendly inventory environment while managing the inventory process
Direct inventory team members in appropriate actions
Manage counts, controls, accuracy, and cut-offs
Explain, direct, and manage physical counts and count reconciliations
Manage systems issues unique to the physical inventory process
Apply store operations policies and procedures during inventory activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
5 years’ extensive experience in operations management and all selling and inventory management systems
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred
Extensive travel, including flights
