About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive Pro sales for assigned and prospect customer portfolios through market research, cold calling, lead generation, and regular customer meetings
  • Visit worksites to identify additional product needs, take orders, and coordinate fulfillment with stores
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales
  • Research district-level Pro customer opportunities and pursue high-opportunity customers
  • Develop account strategies using relevant customer and account information
  • Work cross-functionally with District Managers, Store Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and merchandising teams
  • Conduct supplier annual reviews, quarterly and annual planning meetings, production meetings, vendor trade shows, and board of director vendor approval meetings
  • Conduct 12–15 sales calls weekly covering products, production schedules, delivery timing, and new product introductions
  • Apply consultative selling and schedule ongoing follow-ups for sales opportunities
  • Use selling tools, programs, and fulfillment channels to provide effective customer solutions
  • Provide weekly updates to the District Manager on sales, customer opportunities, wins, performance, and planned sales
  • Influence district and store managers regarding services and in-stock needs
  • Communicate with the Regional Pro Sales Director and Divisional Sales Director
  • Research and analyze competitive services, Pro programs, and price ranges
  • Integrate Lowe’s processes with customers’ accounting and purchasing systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 Years Relevant professional sales experience
  • Experience selling products and services to strategic accounts and/or Business to Business selling
  • Experience with CRM technology
  • Sales experience in the maintenance, repair, operations, construction, home improvement, or property maintenance industry (preferred)
