About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the distribution network is optimally systemized through new functionality
  • Analyze, develop, test, train and implement solutions for Lowe’s WMS and WLM distribution products
  • Partner with Lowe’s IT business units and external solution providers to support key business projects
  • Work closely with field WMS Analysts and IT Leads to manage product backlogs and prioritize work
  • Interpret, analyze and prioritize business requirements
  • Configure products and conduct UAT planning and execution
  • Manage change and training activities for initiatives, implementations, enhancements, releases, facility startups and upgrades
  • Serve as subject matter expert for WMS requirements and solution development
  • Conduct work stream analysis during development
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases
  • Integrate UAT plans into master test plans
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes and assess schedule impacts
  • Recommend alternatives to minimize defect-related delays
  • Prepare end-user documentation for new WMS functionality
  • Analyze production defects and provide analysis to Production Management and IT Solutions Leads
  • Perform UAT on corrected defects and provide sign-off for operating system updates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree Distribution/Logistics Management/Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 4 years progressive engineering/IT/operations/project management/UAT experience in a multi unit environment
  • 2 years experience collaborating with design/development teams, internal or external
  • Experience working directly with 3rd party software vendors
  • 3 years advanced knowledge of distribution management systems, RF functions and web application
  • 3 years knowledge distribution support methods and operational procedures
  • 3 years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile
  • 3 years experience performing UAT on corrected defects and providing UAT sign off for operating system updates
