About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and deliver independent audits of automotive quality management systems against ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Assess the effectiveness of management systems
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Support clients in achieving and maintaining certification requirements
- Independently or as part of a team, test management systems in quality
- Examine the implementation of management systems as a technical expert
- Contribute to overall quality and system improvement
- Build and deepen cooperation with clients and business relationships
- Provide professional insight and guidance
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of LRQA through high-quality assurance services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Already qualified 3rd party IATF16949 or ISO9001 Lead Auditor are a plus
- Bachelor's or master's degree preferably in chemistry major
- Minimum four years' work experience in the Automotive Supply Industry in the last 15 years
- Preferably experience at an IATF16949 certified OEM or Tier 1 / Tier 2 supplier or as an IATF qualified 3rd party auditor at a Certifying Body
- Sound knowledge of process management
- Knowledge of statistical techniques (MSA, SPC)
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP & FMEA application within the Automotive industry
- Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Willing to visit sites abroad with some regularity
- Good communication and social skills
