About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a 10-week paid summer internship

  • Perform technical and/or non-technical business-related tasks
  • Create and deliver presentations at the end of the internship
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other functions assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Computing Sciences & Information Technology, Mathematics & Data Science, or similar degree program
  • High school diploma
  • Proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Good academic standing
  • Preferred experience with projects or coursework related to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, or transformers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning
  • Ability to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a workstation while viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
