About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a 10-week paid summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week
  • Attend development workshops focused on key business concepts
  • Network and participate in the company’s internship program
  • Work on meaningful projects under the mentorship of respective managers
  • Support the setup of a new ASO funding arrangement, including automation, review, and related projects
  • Support key strategic projects with a mentor
  • Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications
  • Perform technical and/or non-technical business-related project tasks
  • Create and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship
  • Support the Lifetime Healthcare Companies’ mission, values, Corporate Code of Conduct, and Lifetime Way values
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar degree program
  • High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Good academic standing
  • Preferred but not required: proficiency in Excel, databases, and use of AI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all company levels
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning
  • Ability to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
