About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in a 10-week paid summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week
- Administer LTHC's Salesforce environments
- Learn and manage Salesforce environments and solutions
- Manage user access and permissions
- Create administrative reports in Salesforce
- Perform other relevant Salesforce administrative duties
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects
- Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications
- Perform technical and non-technical tasks across business-related projects
- Create and deliver presentations at the end of the internship
- Support the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission, values, and Corporate Code of Conduct
- Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other functions assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Desired majors/degree programs include Computing Sciences & Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Networking, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or similar programs
- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Must be in good academic standing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and on cross-departmental teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed
- Preferred but not required: IT systems knowledge, cloud skills, and exposure to sales processes
