About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the mobile app development team
- Participate in agile ceremonies
- Gain experience across the full software development lifecycle, including production delivery in an enterprise environment
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects
- Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications
- Perform technical and non-technical tasks across business-related projects
- Create and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship

Requirements
What you’ll need- Computing Sciences & Information Technology or similar degree program, including Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Networking, or Cybersecurity
- High School diploma
- Proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Good academic standing
- Preferred but not required: programming/coding, web design, or software development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all company levels
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and on intra- and interdepartmental teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a workstation while using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as needed
