About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support enterprise Records and Information Management initiatives
- Assist with operationalizing retention policies across SharePoint sites
- Support Information Enterprise Repository content ingestion activities
- Participate in RIM program governance and oversight processes
- Support operational reviews
- Develop training and awareness materials
- Assist with file migration efforts
- Create team communications
- Document procedures
- Track program metrics and compliance activities
- Gain exposure to records management, information governance, Microsoft 365, data lifecycle management, and organizational change management
- Work with a mentor and support strategic projects
- Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications
- Perform technical and non-technical business-related tasks
- Create and deliver presentations at the end of the internship
- Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy
- Demonstrate integrity and support the company mission, values, and Code of Conduct
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other functions assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Must be in good academic standing
- Desired majors/degree programs include Information Systems, Information Science, Business, Cybersecurity, Legal or Pre-law, Data Management, MLIS, Business and Management, Computing Sciences and Information Technology, Mathematics and Data Science, or similar programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all company levels
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation, viewing a computer and using keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as needed
