Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Candesa Pharmacy Solutions development team by implementing and testing application enhancements
  • Complete conversion work
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Collaborate through code reviews and technical discussions
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions
  • Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects
  • Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications
  • Perform technical and/or non-technical tasks across business-related projects
  • Create and deliver a presentation at the end of the internship
  • Support the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission, values, Corporate Code of Conduct, and Lifetime Way values
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate or graduate student in Computing Sciences & Information Technology or a similar program
  • High school diploma
  • Proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Preferred but not required experience with Azure, AWS, other cloud platforms, C#, Angular, Git, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, GPT Codex, or other AI tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to completing assigned tasks
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on intra- and inter-departmental teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
  • Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation and use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
  • Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed
