  • Help develop healthy workshop offerings for groups
  • Create or update guides for employers supporting workplace wellbeing programs
  • Grow the portfolio of resources brought to market
  • Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects
  • Complete assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and qualifications
  • Perform technical and non-technical tasks across business-related projects
  • Create and deliver presentations at the end of the internship
  • Support the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission, values, and Corporate Code of Conduct
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other functions assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate or graduate student with proof of continuous full-time college enrollment
  • High School diploma
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Desired majors include Public Health, Health Education or Promotion, Exercise Science, Nutrition, Social Work, Health & Society, or similar programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and staff at all levels
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proactive, creative, and flexible approach to assigned tasks
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on departmental teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment
  • Ability to work at a workstation using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time
  • Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as needed
  • Preferred but not required: experience in Health Promotion & Education
  • Familiarity with population health, epidemiology, and social determinants of health
  • Skilled with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related tools
  • Ability to assess program effectiveness using surveys and health metrics
  • Basic knowledge of lifestyle medicine and holistic wellness approaches
