About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day management of client accounts and serve as a trusted client and internal-team contact
- Develop understanding of clients’ brands, business objectives, therapeutic areas, audiences, and competitive landscapes
- Own client and creative briefs and provide internal teams with context and direction
- Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction
- Partner with Creative, Medical, Strategy, Project Management, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality work
- Coordinate with Project Management on priorities, deliverables, changing client needs, risks, and scope changes
- Coordinate materials through medical, legal, and regulatory review
- Review materials for accuracy, completeness, approved messaging, and alignment with client expectations
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings, presentations, and status calls
- Document key decisions and ensure follow-through
- Monitor brand, competitor, industry, and marketplace developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of account management experience within a pharma or healthcare communications agency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Understanding of collaboration across Account, Creative, Medical, Strategy, and Project Management
- Comfortable building client relationships and contributing in meetings and presentations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and adapt to evolving client needs
- Proactive approach to solving problems
- Interest in developing knowledge of the brand, therapeutic area, and healthcare marketplace
- Collaborative, hands-on approach and willingness to support the team and work
