About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Design and Pre-Production teams, guided by the Sr. Technical Designer or Technical Design Lead, to determine fit and aesthetics
- Complete product packages in Flex PLM, including measurements, construction details, and technical sketches
- Establish and maintain fit and construction standards for brand consistency and quality
- Review fit history and recommend alternative construction methods or component options when necessary
- Prepare for and actively participate in fit sessions
- Resolve and communicate fit and construction issues to International Buying Offices and factories within development and production timelines
- Communicate daily and follow through with International Buying Offices, vendors, and cross-functional partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree in a related field required
- 1+ years of Technical Design or similar experience is a plus
- Some knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing process
- An eye for proportion, balance, and aesthetic details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence and assertiveness in fit presentation
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to seek input for optimum resolutions
- Proficiency in Flex PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
