About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build a team of top performers and create an excellent customer experience
- Manage all aspects of store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Hire, train, develop, engage, and retain associates and managers
- Create action plans using statistical information and market knowledge
- Demonstrate product knowledge, selling, and operational skills to maximize sales
- Engage customers to build relationships and brand loyalty
- Motivate teams, provide feedback, and hold the store team accountable
- Ensure merchandising and operational standards are consistently met
- Oversee controllable expenses, including payroll and training
- Lead or assist with floor sets, window changes, and visual merchandising
- Perform POS transactions and management functions in the Assistant Manager’s absence
- Schedule employees according to their strengths to maximize productivity
- Model respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity
- Report to the District Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years as a Store Manager in a similar-volume apparel business (preferred)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- May require occasional travel to other store locations and attendance at district meetings
- Ability to use product knowledge, selling, operational, merchandising, visual, and POS skills
- Ability to manage hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and store operations
