About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery accountability across concurrent customer deployments, from technical discovery through production go-live and enterprise sign-off
Translate customer use cases into technical roadmaps, work breakdowns, and release sprints
Manage backlogs, technical scope, and critical delivery paths
Identify and manage architectural bottlenecks, integration blockers, and third-party API dependencies
Unblock engineers during architectural debates, escalations, and complex debugging sessions
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
Allocate engineering capacity and match talent to enterprise projects
Set standards for code quality, continuous deployment, automated testing, and secure system design
Drive performance coaching, technical feedback, and career progression
Act as lead delivery contact and technical escalation manager for client IT leads, enterprise architects, and program sponsors
Run technical governance, architecture reviews, and milestone check-ins
Partner with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Executives on enterprise engagements
Abstract bespoke customer integrations into reusable Industry Vertical Packs, connectors, and deployment templates
Partner with Core R&D and AI Platform teams to contribute field solutions to the central codebase

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software engineering background
3+ years of people management experience
Hands-on experience with backend systems, APIs, and modern languages (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Java; SQL and relational databases)
Experience in forward deployed engineering, enterprise solutions architecture, technical consulting, or professional services involving high-stakes delivery commitments
Deep familiarity with integrating enterprise ecosystems such as SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and RBAC
Strong working knowledge of Generative AI implementations, including RAG architectures, LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, and API-based agents
Expert-level mastery of high-velocity delivery sprints, MVP scoping, customer trade-offs, and delivery metrics in tools like Jira
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel periodically approximately 10–15%
Experience with high-growth B2B SaaS environments, Kubernetes, GCP/Azure, or event-driven Pub/Sub is a bonus
Background turning custom client deliveries into off-the-shelf product features or SDKs is a bonus
Professional proficiency in French is a bonus
