About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support deployment and operation of workloads on AWS, including S3, Athena, Glue, Kafka, and Iceberg tables
Ensure reliability and performance of data pipelines and batch/stream processing jobs
Work with Data Platform teams to consume and extend platform capabilities
Maintain DEV, TEST, and PROD environments aligned with regulatory requirements
Support configuration management, reproducibility, pipeline versioning, and rollback strategies
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines and applications
Ensure SLAs and data availability for regulatory reporting use cases
Support incident management and root cause analysis
Implement secure deployment practices with auditability and traceability
Support access management and secrets handling for cloud services
Ensure compliance with GDPR, DORA, and audit-readiness requirements
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Reporting Engineers, and Data Platform teams
Promote DevOps best practices across the Risk & Finance Reporting domain

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with DevOps practices in data/cloud environments
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including S3, Glue, Athena, or similar services
Experience supporting Spark-based workloads, including PySpark
Experience with streaming systems such as Kafka
Understanding of modern data lake technologies such as Iceberg or similar table formats
Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based pipelines
Familiarity with Python-based services such as Django or similar
Understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident response practices
Awareness of data governance, security, and regulatory constraints in financial environments
Fluent English in spoken and written communication is required
