About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead development of innovative solutions for the full document lifecycle: document generation, capturing, archiving, and signing
Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing banking and fintech solutions
Ensure architectural best practices and technology standards for secure, scalable, high-performing financial products
Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic goals
Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring sessions
Explore emerging technologies such as AI/ML and cloud-native architectures
Establish and lead Communities of Practice in Software Engineering, QA & Test Automation, DevOps, and Cloud
Develop and maintain frameworks, guidelines, and accelerators for engineering excellence
Promote automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native adoption
Engage with internal and external technology communities
Optimize deployment pipelines for faster time-to-market and operational excellence
Embed shift-left testing practices into the software development lifecycle
Interact with IT teams and suppliers in a pan-Baltic agile environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid technical background in banking and fintech solutions
Understanding and hands-on experience in software development and architecture
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
Expertise in microservices architecture, API development, and event-driven systems
Strong leadership skills, with a history of leading teams to success
Experience building document management services using SharePoint Online and/or AWS services is a plus
Understanding of key regulations impacting the finance sector
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent English in spoken and written communication
Candidate primarily already located within the Baltics
CV in English and PDF format
