About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the inbound flow for the Malaysia local market
- Coordinate with demand planners, freight forwarders, suppliers, and warehouse stakeholders
- Consolidate procurement orders from Singapore and other countries and submit them to suppliers
- Process orders, shipping documents, and invoices accurately and promptly
- Follow up on quantity or price discrepancies with suppliers and publish monthly discrepancy reports
- Follow up on order fulfillment and item availability
- Track freight spending
- Build and sustain supplier-distributor relationships
- Produce and disseminate weekly inventory and stocks-in-transit reports
- Manage stock transfers between different sites
- Create articles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Possess 3 years of experience in supply chain
- Possess knowledge of incoterms
- Degree / Diploma holder in logistics and supply chain management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- SAP experience is an added advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong coordination ability
- Good problem-solving skills
