About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor and manage a high-performing, diverse analytics team
  • Set the mission, technical direction and culture of the analytics function
  • Provide technical direction on product analytics, experimentation, attribution, forecasting, predictive analytics and observability
  • Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and data methodologies and enable implementation
  • Identify and track metrics measuring success across all areas of the business
  • Ensure trustworthy and timely data for stakeholders across departments
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on key initiatives and strategic objectives
  • Align customer impact with commercial outcomes alongside FP&A and product leads
  • Partner with the Director of Data Platform on the company data vision and strategy
  • Support high data quality, robust data governance and analytics roadmaps
  • Drive product development data opportunities
  • Promote understanding of key metrics and evangelise insights and trends across stakeholders
  • Increase stakeholder self-service use of analytics tools and enable analysts to provide deeper insights
  • Evaluate, deploy and drive adoption of AI-enhanced analytics tools
  • Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate with Data Platform, Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Finance and Marketing directors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in a senior or head of analytics role within e-commerce, marketplace or technology sectors
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Expertise in data modelling, experimentation, attribution, forecasting and observability
  • Experience leading product analytics and improving product experience based on analysis and insights
  • Experience introducing and driving adoption of agentic analytics in an organisation
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience driving change through analytics and data initiatives
  • Strong high-level strategic thinking and detailed analysis skills
