About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee post-production projects from editorial kickoff through final delivery
- Own staffing and resourcing for the post-production department
- Build and maintain a freelance network and match talent to project creative needs, timelines, and budgets
- Forecast staffing needs ahead of time
- Serve as the trusted day-to-day client contact throughout post-production
- Build and manage project budgets, estimates, reconciliations, and forecasts
- Negotiate and oversee post-production contracts and freelance agreements
- Manage cost, usage rights, delivery obligations, timelines, and working relationships
- Organize ingestion-to-delivery workflows and maintain working knowledge of post-production processes
- Collaborate with editors, producers, finishing artists, creative leadership, and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of post-production producing or management/mentorship experience within an agency, production company, network, studio, or brand environment
- Highly organized, with ability to run multiple simultaneous projects, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups
- Existing freelance network of editors, motion designers, colorists, and finishing artists
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition
- Working knowledge of LucidLink, Frame.io, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with AI-enabled creative and production tools
- Understanding of media management, offline-to-online workflows, color pipelines, and audio post
- Strong financial fundamentals and experience building and owning project budgets
- Experience negotiating vendor, freelance, or production contracts
- Ability to work in the US
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus
