About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and implement digital fundraising campaigns for nonprofit clients
  • Maintain client relationships through email, phone, weekly check-in calls, and strategy meetings
  • Serve as overall project manager, ensuring deliverables are on time
  • Oversee details of email campaign launches using Luminate, EveryAction, or client CRMs
  • Analyze email, web, advertising, and social campaign results and identify performance insights
  • Draft email, social, and web copy for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement campaigns
  • Review or create client agendas, notes, calendars, and data reports
  • Lead strategy documents including campaign plans and wrap-up reports
  • Assign and review junior staff deliverables, providing feedback, coaching, and guidance
  • Track work hours and contribute to smooth team operations
  • Participate in phone interviews, written skills assessment, video interviews, and reference checks as part of the hiring process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of digital fundraising experience, including managing a small-dollar email fundraising program for at least one year
  • Experience supporting the professional development of more junior staff or interns
  • Demonstrated ability to run meetings to identify project goals and ensure successful outcomes
  • Capability to use Excel for numerical analysis and interpret online fundraising metrics into key takeaways
  • Experience using eCRMs
  • Understanding of digital email writing best practices
  • Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to work collaboratively and gain trust through honesty, integrity, kindness, empathy, and authenticity
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to prioritize time to meet deadlines for multiple projects
  • Proven ability to learn new skills and technologies
  • Drive to identify improvements and address potential roadblocks
  • Comfort admitting knowledge gaps and receiving feedback
  • Ability to work within equitable and inclusive decision-making models
