Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and decision support
Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and develop analytical solutions
Lead complex analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers across operational processes
Translate complex data and analytical findings into actionable insights, business narratives, and executive-level recommendations
Design, develop, and maintain reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and performance measurement solutions
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, automation, business transformation, and strategic priorities
Implement analytical recommendations, define success measures, and measure realized value and business impact
Establish and enhance KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks
Support evaluation, planning, testing, and implementation of new processes, products, technologies, and business initiatives
Mentor less experienced team members and promote analytical best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement
Foster collaboration, data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous learning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
4+ years of related experience in business analytics, operations, consulting, process improvement, business intelligence, project management, or a related field
Ability to perform complex quantitative and business analysis
Ability to develop performance measurement frameworks and translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations
Experience partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to solve operational challenges
Strong consultative approach and ability to build credibility, influence decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and leadership levels
Ability to tell compelling stories with data and translate analytical findings into actionable business insights
Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of banking operations, financial services, or operational support functions preferred
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, Copilot, or similar analytics and reporting platforms
Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to 575 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203
