About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Layout, design, and coordinate assigned mechanical engineering projects
- Produce coordinated HVAC and plumbing system designs meeting project requirements, codes, and quality standards
- Oversee multiple projects from start to finish, including schedules, budgets, and performance goals
- Coordinate project workflows, delegate tasks, and guide team members
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, field teams, and external partners
- Create and maintain calculations, reports, and design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu
- Mentor and train team members
- Drive process improvements and introduce technologies that enhance design efficiency and project delivery
- Support engineering documentation, design development, and quality control efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is required
- Experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
