About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Royalty Managers with royalty period-end and statement preparation
  • Ensure accuracy of royalty terms in the Biblio royalty system
  • Review banking and tax forms
  • Process payee changes
  • Pull sales information and conduct related research
  • Clear errors and exceptions, including data cleanup
  • Edit and create manual statements
  • Collaborate with the Author Care team to resolve internal and external royalty inquiries
  • Assist with payment processes, including reviewing payment registers and reports
  • Prepare payment requests as needed
  • Provide additional support to the Senior Royalty Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Detail-oriented and process-oriented; exercises good judgment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage steady volume of detailed, deadline-driven work
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of, or strong aptitude for learning, royalty contract terms and processes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, databases, and system queries
  • Motivated, disciplined, with high personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
  • 1–2 years of experience in royalty operations, publishing, or a related accounting/finance role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Book publishing experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Biblio or a similar royalty platform a plus
