About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and expand macroeconomic content in the Macrobond application
Source data from national, international and private sources
Process and implement data in the database accurately and timely
Filter and scrub data to identify patterns and correct data problems
Communicate with data sources to maintain high data standards
Identify opportunities to improve work processes through data automation and structuring
Cooperate with team members and the team leader
Share knowledge with less experienced colleagues
Participate in internal projects while developing within the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree (Bachelor or above) in Economics/Statistics/Finance or similar
Fluent English, required for handling data, internal tools & cross-department communication
Fluency in one Asian language (e.g. Bahasa, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Japanese or Chinese)
Proficiency in using Excel
High attention to detail and analytical approach to data filtering & data processing techniques
Very good research skills, including advanced web browsing
Right to work in Hong Kong (IANG visa holders are welcome to apply)
Experience from similar roles would be an advantage
