About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, education providers, community organisations, DWP, and employers
  • Promote employment and training opportunities through events, job fairs, presentations, and social media
  • Engage with referral partners and stakeholders to attract and source candidates
  • Represent the Employment & Skills Academy and Stansted Airport at external events and community activities
  • Work closely with employers to understand recruitment needs, coordinate interviews, and gather feedback
  • Provide stakeholder updates, performance data, and reporting to support continuous improvement
  • Support the Academy's growth by developing talent pipelines and increasing stakeholder engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong writing and summarising skills, with experience producing reports, newsletters, presentations, or stakeholder updates
  • Confidence presenting to groups and representing the Academy at events, job fairs, and community engagement activities
  • Effective listening skills and a customer-focused approach to understanding stakeholder and employer needs
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to suggest new ideas and drive continuous improvement
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues, partners, and employers to achieve shared goals
