About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across the Magnet One SaaS platform, including React interfaces and C# backend services and APIs
Evolve shared navigation, workflows, and unified design patterns across the platform
Build and enhance case management capabilities supporting forensic investigators
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with ownership of quality, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions
Contribute to cloud-native service deployment, monitoring, scalability, and operational excellence
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural planning
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership through collaboration and knowledge sharing
Adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong full-stack development expertise
Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern web development practices
Experience developing backend services and APIs using C# and .NET technologies
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests across multiple application layers
Experience leveraging AI technologies in software development, including natural language search, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted engineering practices
Familiarity with Cloud, Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and modern CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and engineering judgment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with AWS preferred
Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications at scale preferred
Experience designing distributed systems and service-oriented architectures preferred
Exposure to digital forensics, cybersecurity, legal technology, or enterprise software domains preferred
Must reside in Canada
Satisfactory completion of a background check required
