About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Package and integrate vehicle systems into a vehicle
  • Monitor virtual vehicle layout and finalize proportions, hard points, and vehicle architecture
  • Manage variants and meet project-specific communisation and standardization targets
  • Conceptualize and detail-design VI systems to meet cost, weight, and functional targets
  • Use Teamcenter Enterprise, TC-engineering, and TC-project PLM tools
  • Maintain CAD vehicle layout to facilitate design engineering modifications and insertion or introduction of new vehicle parts
  • Collect CAD models and locate them at the appropriate vehicle locations
  • Manage vehicle-level Engineering Bill of Material to support vehicle build during product development
  • Monitor system designs to ensure compliance with customer requirements arising from QFD

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 to 12 years of experience
  • BE/B.Tech
  • Experience with vehicle systems packaging and integration
  • Experience monitoring virtual vehicle layout and finalizing proportions, hard points, and vehicle architecture
  • Experience managing variants and project-specific communisation and standardization targets
  • Experience conceptualizing and designing VI systems to meet cost, weight, and functional targets
  • Exposure to Teamcenter Enterprise, TC-engineering, and TC-project PLM tools
  • Experience with CAD vehicle layout and locating CAD models at vehicle locations
  • Experience managing vehicle-level Engineering Bill of Material
  • Ability to ensure compliance with customer requirements arising from QFD
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
