Key responsibilities & impact

Build and evolve shared services and components used by product teams
Design APIs, tools, and design-system components and support adoption by engineering teams
Improve the speed, safety, and reliability of software development, testing, and delivery
Gather internal engineer feedback, measure adoption, and iterate
Ship features end to end from planning through production
Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers to shape the team roadmap
Own the long-term reliability and performance of a feature area or system
Review code and mentor developers
Improve tooling, testing, and delivery practices
Join a team of 5 to 10 people
Own a feature area or system outright within the first 6 months

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products
Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development
Track record of writing maintainable, testable code suitable for handoff
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort making progress when specifications are not fully settled
Day-to-day use of AI tools in the development workflow
Take part in an on-call rotation
Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience
Valuable experience with search technology, authentication and identity, design systems or component libraries, developer tooling or IDE extensions, CI/CD, observability, or compliance programs such as FedRAMP or SOC 2
Legally authorized to work in Canada
