About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Integration Consultants to understand client requirements and business processes
Design, develop, and implement custom integrations using Open REST APIs, connectors, and data transformation techniques
Advise Integration Consultants and clients on effective use of Open REST APIs
Collaborate with MaintainX Engineering and Product teams to prioritize customer integration requirements
Ensure reliability, security, and performance through testing and quality assurance
Debug and troubleshoot integration issues
Provide ongoing support for client projects
Create and maintain technical documentation
Communicate project status to internal teams and clients
Contribute to project planning, scoping, and timeline management

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in software development, solutions architecture, software engineering, or similar
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, middleware platforms, and data transformation
Knowledge of TypeScript, NodeJS, React, React Native, and MySQL
Ability to organize and consolidate customer data from various formats and source applications
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Detail- and process-oriented with strong written and verbal communication
Ability to manage projects across internal and external stakeholders
Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or Sage Intacct
Experience in manufacturing, or knowledge of IoT sensors, historians, SCADA, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies
Familiarity with Workato, Tray.io, or Zapier
Legally authorized to work in the United States
