About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hire, ramp and develop a team of BDRs
- Own the BDR strategy and productivity playbook
- Set the hiring bar and run the 90-day ramp
- Hold representatives accountable for pipeline targets
- Establish a weekly coaching cadence and diagnose pipeline misses
- Write and continuously refine the outbound motion, including ICP, messaging, sequences and the sales technology stack
- Create development plans and career paths toward Account Executive or team lead roles
- Coordinate ICP evolution, campaign activation and pipeline handoffs with Marketing and Sales
- Report to the Director of Business Development
- Build a high-performing team with predictable pipeline and representative development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 years leading a BDR or SDR team at a SaaS or technology company, with documented attainment against team targets
- Repeatable BDR hiring process and ability to identify A-player candidates
- Ability to coach representative behavior and change output
- Data fluency, including pulling reports, reading pipeline signals and coaching to leading indicators
- Record of holding Marketing and Sales operations accountable to pipeline outcomes
- Experience writing BDR playbooks and building where little exists
- Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, or operations buyers is nice to have
- Familiarity with CMMS or EAM software is nice to have
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
