About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Director of Product Marketing
- Align to one or more product pillars and work with product managers and engineers
- Take products from alpha through public beta to general availability
- Plan and run mid-tier (P2) product launches end to end
- Lead a major workstream on large (P1) launches
- Prepare sales and customer teams for launch day
- Shape product messaging, positioning and naming
- Build collateral, video scripts and sales enablement materials
- Partner with Demand Gen on campaign messaging and go-to-market reviews
- Use analytics tools, customer conversations and market research to understand buyers
- Own and review a product adoption goal weekly with the product counterpart
- Set product marketing strategy and make recommendations to the manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years in product marketing or a closely related role, such as sales enablement, sales or marketing
- Experience taking a product launch from plan to release
- Clear writing and confident presentations to sales, product and executive audiences
- Experience working with go-to-market teams before and after the sale
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Databricks and Salesforce
- Ability to understand interconnected business and product processes
- Accountability and receptiveness to feedback
- Background in manufacturing, industrial or other asset-intensive industries (nice-to-have)
- Experience marketing B2B software or AI products (nice-to-have)
