About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own how products reach the market from alpha through general availability
- Plan and run mid-tier (P2) product launches end to end
- Lead major workstreams on the largest (P1) launches
- Prepare sales and customer teams for launch day
- Shape messaging, positioning and naming with product counterparts
- Translate technical capabilities into clear value for buyers and frontline technicians
- Build collateral, video scripts and sales enablement materials
- Partner with Demand Gen on campaign messaging and review go-to-market materials
- Use analytics tools, customer conversations and market research to understand buyers
- Own and review a product adoption goal weekly with the product counterpart
- Set product marketing strategy and provide recommendations to the manager
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, sales and marketing teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years in product marketing or a closely related role, such as sales enablement, sales or marketing
- Experience taking a product launch from plan to release
- Clear writing and confident presentations to sales, product and executive audiences
- Experience working with go-to-market teams before and after the sale
- Comfort using Tableau, Databricks and Salesforce to check on customers and adoption
- Ability to map the many moving parts behind a situation
- Willingness to receive feedback and take accountability
- Background in manufacturing, industrial or other asset-intensive industries (nice-to-have)
- Experience marketing B2B software or AI products (nice-to-have)
